A Great Way to Stay Connected this Summer!

Summer Connection

#jesusonthego #splcconnection

Are you looking forward to warmer days? Counting the days until you’re sitting on the dock at the cabin? How many trips will you take to the zoo? Are you planning cookouts with friends or what vegetables to plant in the garden?

Summer is an amazing time of new schedules, longer days, warm weather, and so many ways to connect with friends and family. In order to connect with our St. Paul’s family, we’d like to invite you to pray with us. In this book, you’ll find a weekly prayer focus. The focus for the week may be a topic to pray about or a suggested prayer. These prayer ideas will be posted each Sunday in the bulletin, on our social media throughout the week including Facebook and Twitter, in the Sower, and may be used in weekend worship services. Use these prayers alone, with a friend, with family, or a small group you belong to. You can always pray for other things, but these prayers will help St. Paul’s to connect with each other by having a common focus.

Another way we’re planning to connect is with “Jesus On The Go!” We know that Jesus is always with us. He’s with us at our dining table, in the car, at the lake, on the mountain top, at the pool, around the campfire, everywhere we go! Take Jesus On the Go with you on your adventures and be sure to snap a picture with him. Post your picture on St. Paul’s Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. Be sure to tag us. Use #splcconnection or #jesusonthego. You can also send a picture to Nichole at nbaugh@splcomaha.org as we’ll use some photos in publications.

At the end of the summer we’ll gather to talk about our adventures and how we saw God answer prayer.
